Lex Bolkesteijn built Noar'n Leemkoel (translated "To the clay pit") years ago in 1:22.5 scale depicting 600 mm narrow-gauge (lle); Lex's model runs on 30mm (lle) track.

Explanation of scale by Lex: "Is 2e but here we write IIe (2 x capital i)".

Lex writes, "Maybe you know LGB (  https://www.lgb.com/ ) which are model trains in IIm (1:22.5 for 1000mm gauge). 1000mm as a gauge is common in Europe for example HSB (https://www.hsb-wr.de/), RhB ( https://www.rhb.ch/en/home )"

Lex was inspired by a narrow-gauge railroad near his hometown in the eastern region of the Netherlands. It has been on display during exhibition when he and a few friends, were asked to demonstrate G scale live steam model railroading on various shows including special exhibition days at https://www.leemspoor.nl/ a narrow gauge museum dedicated to the clay pits and roof tile and brick factory fabriks near my hometown (see also  https://www.leemspoor.nl/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=2&Itemid=102 )

Model brand is Regner Echt Damp - Feldbahn RSSB  IIe http://www.regner-dampftechnik.de/

"Although the diorama should have been on permanent display in a newly built exhibition hall on the Leemspoor museum, it was damaged and was dismantled."

What does this blogger enjoy about this diorama? I enjoyed how he incorporate the cow pen, the water feature, a wonderful backdrop and the people living their everyday lives (a farmer at the water feature and a rider on his bicycle). I also enjoyed the attractive valance, fascia, and wings though I believe this diorama would have benefitted had all three features been a bit larger.
