Tsushima II Diorama
1:35 scale
Nicolas Cabaret
I am tempted to describe this as some of the greatest modeling I have ever encountered. The luminescence of that water in Cabaret's Tsushima diorama is superb - I assume he seeks to replicate the appearance of sunshine hitting floating oil discharged by the sinking ship. Search YouTube to see more of Cabaret's work.
The title of this diorama refers to the 1905 Battle of Tsushima of the Russo-Japanese War.
Regrettably, I have been unable to find any biographical information on this talented diorama builder.
