Paper Towel Rack on My Workbench
Helpful Hint
Always keep a paper towel dispenser handy at your modeling work bench. I think I use this more than my hobby knife during a typical work session. Dirty hands pose a hazard to any model you are assembling or painting; and so is a dirty workbench. If you are at all prone to neatness, lack of paper towels could just bring a project to a halt - just like running out of any other vital modeling supply (strip wood, styrene, commercial parts, etc.).
I can hear my readers saying "yeah, sure... I knew that" - but do you have one right now on your workbench? Probably not. Granted you might have a roll of paper towels at your workbench, but a dispenser may be lacking.
Resist the temptation to reach into your waste basket to get something to wipe up a mess - chances are what you find in your waste basket is already dirty an will not only mess up your workbench, or model but get your hands dirty as well.
Don't run to your kitchen to get a paper towel either.
Also, don't borrow your wife's paper towel dispenser - instead just pick one up the next time you are at your supermarket or hardware store or wherever else you find convenient. Make sure the dispenser has some heft for stability.
