Once the sheen is removed from these model ducks - which come one to a package - they appear quite realistic. Good idea to install these in a group - a solitary one would look out of place. Also, realism dictates that they be installed in a grouping of an odd number.
Here are the six (6) steps I took to install these models on my layout. Step 1 - Fabricate some pins by cutting up some paper clips. Step 2 - Heating the pins over an open kitchen flame I exercised caution suing a pair of pliers. Step 3 - I installed some pins into the bottom of these model ducks by pressing them into the bottom of the model. Work quickly as the pins will cool rapidly. Once the pin cools, it will not be possible to insert them into the model. Step 4 - I then shot them with a rattle can of Testors Dullcote. Step 5 - Allow to dry on rack. Step 6 - Install on my Fn3 layout by pressing them into the insulating foam base of my layout. I have also seen these model ducks sold in individual bags (one package reads "made in China exclusively for Track N Trains, Inc.")
