Visit - Fascia Painted to Mimic Scenery Depicted

 

Here we have model railroad where its builder chose to have the fascia replicate the forests one sees on the backdrop. To my mind, this method of decorating a fascia does not work but some may wish to consider it. At some point, the layout must end - to my mind, generally, the fascia seeks to keep the visitors' eyes focused on the scene at hand, not to become part of the scene. I understand that sometimes the viewing experience can be enhanced by a fascia that mimics the story being told in our layouts but in this case I do not believe it qualifies.
