An inspiring cameo layout in 16mm scale which emphasizes presentation. Note all the effort made in the sign that identifies this exhibition layout. The Crowsnest Tramway Co. is fictional - the layout is not.
One report is that Roy Link of Norfolk England built this layout in the early 1980s and sold it to Mike South a few years later. Roy scratch built the locomotive. This account might be referring to an earlier version as Link built this in several scales. Another account mentions that it was still under development when Link passed in 2020. Roy's first version was built in 1973.
Roy was the founder and publisher of Narrow Gauge and Industrial Railway Modelling Review.
