Model railroaders seeking inspiration can do no better than to peruse print and video coverage of Bernand Junk's L'Aubraie exhibition layout; they are sure to find wonderful animation on this Frenchman's layout.The layout is 1:13.7 scale or 7/8-inch scale. It runs on 45 mm track (what outdoor large scale model railroaders often use) At his scale, the 45 mm worked out to 2 feet - another description of this layout is 7/8n2.
Bernard's dump cars are weathered LGB models with the wheels replaced with metal wheels of a smaller diameter.
