Visit
This layout's name is in French - Un brin de nostalgie. The genius of Gilbert Gribi is on display her; another layout that I have not visited but that merits study. Scale Oe14 1:43.5. I noticed that the pelmet is constructed to be light weight - in the United States we would be more likely to to describe this as a "valance".
Gilbert Gribi is one of the most talented modelers around - too bad that he seems to not be well known on this side of the Atlantic. Aesthetics
I like that the builder chose a script type face for the layout's name. I also liked that Gribi included his own name on the valance. What I did not like as much was the visual clutter on his fascia.
Interestingly, this exhibition layout works even though it lacks wings - just goes to show that there is a great deal of leeway in creating a captivating exhibition layout.
