Purchase Details
One of my best bargains - I bought this at a show for about $6 (tax included).On the internet, I saw that it comes boxed - my model came without the box. As I model Oahu in the early 1940s, this fits just right.

Note its neat white wall tires and the beautiful grill and hood ornament.

According to the libertyclassics.com web site, the Stoneman family formed Liberty Classics in 1991 to produce die cast models for the ad specialty and premium markets
Modifications
I weathered this Dodge Tanker a bit with Dull Cote and additional weathering. I also added a Hawaii license plate of the period.

At some point I should take this Liberty Classic apart and add a driver.
