Judging from photographs, I suspect this firm out of Saint-Medard-en-Forez may produce the finest scale figures on the market. While France's Reedoak produces model figures in many scales, I am investigating purchasing some Reed Oak figures in 1:24 scale. Both broad gauge and narrow-gauge modelers alike would benefit from some of these figures on their layouts. Certainly, it is unlikely that one will see these figures on someone else's layout.
Launched in January 2015, their web site, www.reedoak.com, has a very informative how-to section (well- illustrated) explaining how to prepare their figures for painting. All their figures are 3D printed in resin. Scales offered are 1/87, 1/72, 1/64, 1/43, 1/48, 1/35, 1/32, and 1/24. Categories of figures that would interest most modelers include: modern civilians, WWII civilians, modern France, WWII United States, and Modern USA. English modelers might be interested in the WWII United Kingdom figures. French modelers are not left out; Reedoak offers figures for WWII France and Modern France.
