Waipahu (Oahu) in color - Photo taken while main road being repaved. I would like one day to model the boisterous liquor store hanging neon sign.Take it as a given, that rarely are ordinary street scenes the subject of a photograph unless something significant is or has happened - a automobile accident; the end of an era (last street car, sign being taken down); public works (paving, excavating, etc.); a death; you get the picture. As is obvious, someone thought to take this photograph because this Hawaiian street was receiving new asphalt paving.
