M47A
3" Palm Trunk
Pre-painted
JG Miniatures

Modeling the tropics, you will probably need some palm trees.  Often-seen, seldom modeled are d
ead trees. Don't make that mistake on your layout; include plenty of dead trees along with your healthy trees. Marketed to military diorama builders as battle-damaged palm trunks, these castings from JG Miniatures work just fine as dead palm trees whose trunks are largely missing. Many scenery details marketed as battle-damaged can work in a non-battlefield setting as just aged trees or features.

JG Miniatures carries both the M47A Bomb Damaged Palm Tree (Trunk only) as well as the somewhat different M47B version that is six inches tall.

Pre-painted so they can be quickly added to your model railroad,
these castings have worked successfully on my Fn3 layout. Their bases can be easily hidden by your scenery materials of choice or trimmed away. Caution - if you are modeling in N or HO, these trunks will not work for you. J G Miniatures has many interesting scenery products; to contact them visit their web site or email them at:
